PostHeaderIcon Beginnings

I would like to say I have strong, detailed and completely brilliant reason Why I have decided to start this blog, but...... I simply don't. Maybe to exercise some old demons and set them free with the hope that someone else struggling can relate and know they are not alone.

All I can say is I'm going to give it a shot. It probably won't be pretty, it will probably be mundane and more than likely inappropriate.
With that said, I feel a few facts may be helpful for anyone who finds themselves here:

  • Opinions expressed here are mine and only mine, they are not representative of any population/group/imaginary people, purple green men, animals, political parties, friends, family and any other disclaimer you, the reader, deems necessary. Which is to say "yep, I wrote it"
  • I'm not accurate with punctuation or spelling or anything else you were supposed to learn in English class. There will be run on sentences because I have to get the thought out and I don't like someone telling me where to end one thought and start another.
  • I am not politically correct, nor do I care to be, and quite frankly I think it's made people far too sensitive and annoying
  • I'm brash and brazen, most people don't like me at first, because as a dear friend told me once, "You just say whatever shit floats through your head don't you?"
  • That same friend then said "You're honest though, and generally right, which is probably even more annoying, but it beats the hell out of the crap most people say."
  • My only sibling is my brother, who is mentally handicapped. He's pretty kick ass if I do say so myself.
  • I bring up #6 because it colors my whole world.

And finally, just like everyone else, I'm trying to get through day to day and find a balance where my minds quiets and my heart finds peace with a bit of hope.
